What is coaching?


Coaching is a relational, experiential learning process aimed at helping you learn the skills to empower your life.


Is coaching the same as therapy?


Coaching is very different than therapy. Although both therapy and coaching aim to support a person's well-being, coaching is not for the treatment of mental health needs and is not considered a medical service. Coaching falls more in the educational or experiential learning category of strengthening and enriching well-being and helping you set and achieve meaningful goals.


Who can benefit from coaching?


While most people can benefit from coaching, coaching is ideal for individuals who feel a base level of stability in their lives and who are looking to expand a creative endeavor, grow in self-awareness or are working through a life transition. Coaching isn't ideal for individuals who are in a crisis state, struggling with acute addiction or grief, or who are seeking mental health services.
